The ceremony ftas short and impressive, after which the party, accompanied by a Tew relatives and intimate friends, repaired to the residence of the groom's father, three miles from the city, where a nice reception was given them. Tho bride was oicgautly attired in a dress of Whito India mull over satin trimmed with Irce. Always lovely sho looked especially beautiful upon this all important occasion.Tho reception given the party by Dr. and Mrs. Cook was one of the most elegant and enjoyable nffuirs of tho kind it has ever been our pleasure to attend. Everything in the way of delicious edibles had been prepared In Abundance and nothing that could add to tho pleasure ot the company was loft undone.
