Fox, Gregory Nuptials SaturdayMiss Bruce Lee Gregory of Chester, was married Saturday at 4 p.m. to Gary Wesley Fox of Colonial Heights.The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Julian Yuille at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. Mrs. Anne Stevens of Colonial Heights was the organist.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Doddridge Gregory of Chester. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wesley Fox Jr., also of Colonial Heights.The bride wore an ivory gown of chiffon over satin with the bodice trimmed in Alencon and Venise lace. The gown had long sheer sleeves with cuffs of stain trimmed in Venise lace. Her long veil of Alencon lace had been worn by her sister, Mrs. Susan G. Pulling of Roanoke. She carried a bouquet of white roses and babies breath centered with an orchid corsage.Miss Myra Anne Gregory of Arlington, was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a pale green gown with an ivory lace insert at the neckline and butterfly sleeves. Her matching hat of pale green was trimmed with ivory ribbon. She carried a small bouquet of roses and babies breath.Bridesmaids were Miss Kathy Bandy of Colonial Heights; Miss Sandra Cox of Chester: and Miss Sylvis Bausell of Arlington. They wore gowns of the same style as the maid of honor in apricot with matching hats trimmed in ivory ribbon. Each carried a small bouquet of roses and babies breath.Mr. Fox was his son’s best man. Ushers were Larry Fox. and Douglas Fox, brothers of the bridegroom, and Chuck Parrish, all of Colonial Heights.Mother of the bride wore an off blue gown of knit with a round neckline and long sleeve matching jacket trimmed in matching braid.Mother of the bridegroom wore a pale yellow gown with an Empire waistline bordered in matching braid with a long sleeve jacket also bordered in matching braid. Both mothers wore matching corsages of two small orchids.For the bride’s going away outfit, she wore a beige dress with blue print trim on the collar and the short sleeve cuffs. Her corsage was lifted from her bridal bouquet.After a short trip to the mountains, the couple will live in Colonial Heights.
