Each I Co carried a cascade bouquet of roses I Ly and ferns. JThe matron of honor, Mrs. Em-1HC melt Harper, sister of the bride, was J TC gowrned in peach mousseline de soie over crisp taffeta with tunic blouse of dyed starched lace. The ensemble was interesting in its use of lace for the Queen Anne collar and the mousseline de soie in full shirred sleeves. The little flower girls, Mary Anne Jenkins and FrancesVerne Jennings of Martindaie wore petite frocks of peach colored mousseline de soie and carried colonial bouquets.The bride was accompanied to the altar by her father who gave her in marriage. She wore a gown of white satin fashioned on princess lines with a long train. The deep yoke and long-fitted sleeves were of AJencon lace in Venitian design. Garlands of orange blossoms and miniature caila lilies held in place the voluminous veil which fell from the shoulders. A short veil was held to the head with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bou quet of calia lilies.Immediately after the ceremony an informal reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.Welcoming the guests with Mr. and Mrs. Smith were Mr. .and Mrs.A. D. Baker, parents of the bridegroom, and members of the wedding party.The lace-covered table held for its central decoration a crystal bowl of pink Radiance roses. Pink tapers burned in crystal holders. The bride’s cake, a beautiful three-tiered confection, was decorated with pink rosebuds and surmounted with aminiature bride and bridegroom. It was cut by Mrs. Homer R. Blair with Mrfe, S. D. McGaughy serving the ice cream moulded in pink roses. Assisting in the dining room were Mrs. JinTBIalr, Mrs. Charles T. Brown, and Mrs. James AUbright.During the second period the cake Was cut by Mrs. J, M. Her corsage was of gardenias.Dr. DuBoise attended the University of Texas and graduated in June in-the School of Medicine at Tulane University.
