Married:—At the Roman'Catholicdaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Thomas, well-to-do farmers living one mile and a half west of Sandoval. Miss Thomas was well known to every one in Sandoval and also in the country. She was one of the most popular members of the church in which she was married. She was a bright and winsome young lady and a general fayorite irf the circle in which she moved. She was the sweetest bride it has been our lot to see in many a long day, as she advanced to the alter to take the vows which were to bind her for life to the husband of her choice; dressed in a beautiful steel gray silk trimmed in lace applica, her only ornaments being orange blossoms. The bridegroom wore the usual suit of black and both looked serenely happy when after the ceremony theystood and received the congratulationsof their many friends. The bridegroom, Mr. Nothouse. was at one time a resident of Sandoval, being connected in business with J. A. Konrade. About a year and a half ago he removed torSt. Louis, where he is now in business. The ceremony over, the congratulations finished, the brideand ;groom—the happy husband and wife -Mr. and Mrs. Notbouse, repaired to the home of the bride’s parents, where a most sumptuous dinner was served to the many friends and neighbors of the family. The couple departed on the 5 o’clock train from Sandoval for St. Louis, their future home, amid showers of rice, the bar binger of good luck. The event was a most happy one and a general good time was had by all those fortunate enough to be invited.
