W. Bcrquist, pastor of St. John’s Methodist church, of Geogetown. ;.The vows of the double ring ceremony were read before an improvised altar of greenery and : white flowers.The bride was dressed in an aqua dress with white and tan accessories. Her corsage was of gardenias.The couple was attended by A.A. (Doc) Ilardin of Belton and Miss Mamie Ericson, sister of the bride. Only immediate families of the couple attended the ceremony.Mrs. Porter is the daughter of Mrs. Victor Ericson of Georgetown. She was graduated frojrr the Georgetown high school'^and received her degree from Southwest Texas State Teachers college, vSan Marcos. She has been a member of the Belton public school faculty for several years.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claiborne Porter of Temple. He was graduated from Temple high school and attended Baylor University.
