The bridegroom is the son of the late John Malloy Sr. and the late Alberta Malloy.Given in marriage by herbrother, Dewey Guye of Hillsborough, the bride wore a white satin gown with a fitted bodice with Venice and Alencon lace, pearls and beads; basque waist with back bow; gathered ftill skirt with lace medallions; and chapel train with embroidered lace panel. Her shoulder length veil was secured to a pearled headband, and she carried a cascade of peach and white roses, babies’ breath and miniature carnations.Nakalia Guye of Glen Raven, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Caldwell of Winston-Salem, Marion Jeffries of Durham and Antia Troxler and Remonia Enoch of Burlington, cousins of the bride, and Vickie Brown of Burlington.Ted Hightower of Burlington was best man. She is employed with Roche Biomedical Laboratories, Elon College.The bridegroom graduated from Cummings High School and attended N.C. Central University, Durham. He is employed with Stuart James, Durham.After a trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds will live in Burlington.
