Carol S. Ham And Marvin Focht Married At East Peoria HI.The First Baptist Church in Efast_Peoria, Illinois was the setting for the May 23rd candlelight ceremony which united Miss Carol Dene Ham and Marvin tFay Foefat Hie bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lelapd W. Ham* of East Peoria, Biinpis. Mr. Focht is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Fodit of 16 Purple street Welis-boroS The Reverend. William Brovfn performed the ceremony; Mr. Ham gave his daughter in marriage.Mrs. Rae Ann Ham, sister-in-laty of the bride, was matron of honor, and die bridesmaid Mrs.* Drexanne Walsh, sister of the groom.The brides, gown was made of sgfc roifitSjtaffetA. deigned„ with bateaurocklme' and’Dibr ~ sleeves. Re-embroidered aleeon lace Crimmed the bodice, sleeves and jtiered sheath skirt The detachable train featured a lace Inset. A duster of white flowers held the veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of white orchids, stephanotis and ivy.The honor attended and Mrs.' Walsh wore tangerine crepe gowns, with lace trim. They f wore matching veils and carried baskets of white and yellow daisies and baby breath.Dennis Rumsey of Coming, New York, cousin of the groom was best man. Donald L. Ham, brother of the bride was groomsman. Ushering the guests were William O. Smart of Peoria, Illinois, and William F. Wood of East Peoria, Illinois.Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church. After a trip to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, the bridal couple will reside at 13 Bache street, Wellsboro.The bride is a graduate of The Mennonite Hospital School of Nursing. Mr. Focht graduated from the Wells boro-Char-leston Area High School, served 3 years with the Army, and is now employed at Corning Glass Works at Wellsboro.
