Presentation of the service pin award will be made by Henry Cordes, drawing department superintendent.Miss Carol Ann Brewer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur C. Brewer of Indiana avenue, was united in marriage toRonald Keith Shafer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Shafer, of Faber Avenue, in a ceremony read Sunday, June 6th, at 4:00’o’clock in the afternoon, at the First Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Bodine officiatedat the double ring ceremony.Miss Carol Neff was soloist, and was accompanied by Mrs. Glenc Babcock at the organ.Miss Brewer, who was given inr marriage by her father, chose a gown styled with an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline and a fitted bodice, accented by applique. Her shoulder length veil was held by a Juliet cap, and she carried an orchid on a white Bible.Miss Sharon Lou Brewer attended her sister as maid of honor. She was attired in a gown styled like that of the bride in pink: linen, with a white hat. Her flowers were white roses.Richard LeRoy Brewer, brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were Terrance Jennings Brewer, brother of the bride and Donie Wayne Barker.Serving at a reception- which followed the ceremony were Mrs~ Darrell Watson, Mrs. Roger Downing, Miss Nancy Kroll and Miss Karen Shafer.For the wedding trip to Chicago Mrs. Shafer wore a biege suit with a red trimmed white hat and white accessories. She also wore* the orchid she carried for theceremony.Mrs. Shafer w as graduated from.Peoria High School and attended’ St. Francis Hospital school of nursing. Mr. Shafer, a graduate of' Morton Township High School, is stationed with the U. S. Air Force in Puerto Rico.Mrs. Shafer will reside with her*time
