Her fingertip^ veil of nylon tulle draped from a pearl trimmed head-piece. Herbouquet of* white carnations was tied With a white satin bow. She was attended by her three sisters, Mrs, Emory Harris, matron of honT or, Mrs/ LeRoy Walker and Miss Mildred Wigen,. bridesmaids. They wore lavender and nile greep^t^-feta' dresses and carrieH””coloniai bouquets of white carnations. The bridegroom was attended ;by his,brother, Bob Bowihan as bestman and Kenneth Riekleft and#Homer Jorgensen. Ushers Were David Gilsdrof and LeRoy Walker. Lalani Richardson mid Tommy j Mick of Pocahontas lighted ' the i ■ candles preceding the. ceremony. |; Sherri Bowman and Barbara Jorgensen, nieces of the bridegroom,.weve' flower girls and7 Roger Harp son and Jerry Woods were ring bearers.Nuptial music was provided by Joe Helgevold, soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Harold Wigdahl. He sang “Perfect Love”, “0 HappyHome0 and the “Lord’s Prayer.0Immediately following the cere-jnony a reception was held in thechurch parlors. „m %The bride is a graduate of the; * .Silver Lake Consolidated and IowaState Teachers College . at CedarFalls. She has been the first grade teacher in * the local public school. The bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Bowman and the late Ira Bowman of Ayrshire.'He is also a graduate of Silver Lake Consolidated school.
