Redman-ThaxtonThe many friends of Miss Lillian Redman and Mr. Fred Thax-ton, both of this city, were surprised to learn of their marriage which took place Tuesday afternoon at the Gordon street Presbyterian Manse, West End, Atlanta, the Rev. Mr. Hill officiating. A few friends from Jackson accompanied the young people to Atlanta and witnessed the ceremony. Both the bride and groom are quite popular and are recipients of best wishes and heartiest congratulations. Mr. and Mrs, Thaxton are spending a week at St. Simons Island and upon their return they will reside in Jackson.
