Havre Daily News, Havre, Montana, Friday Evening, June 17,1977—13LovelUShraugerCandlelight and daisies were the setting for the early evening wedding of Katherine Ann Lovell and Kevin Sam Shrauger on May 14 in St. Jude Thad-deus Catholic Church in Havre.Bouquets of daisies, babies breath and fern with white satin bows surrounded the tallcandles on the aisle pews of the church and pink and whitedaisies were placed in bouquetsand entwined around thecandlesticks on the altar of the church.Rev. Michael McHugh, S.J. performed the double ringceremony uniting in marriage the daughter of Dr. and Mrs.E M. Lovell and the son of Mr. and Mrs Sam D. Shrauger, all of Havre.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown of silk organza over white taffeta Reembroidered lacedefined the high neckline, cap sleeves and empire waist and accented the full skirt which fell to a chapel train. A Juliet cap of matching lace held her three tiered cathedral length veil of silk illusion which was edged in the same lace Short white kid gloves completed her costume and she wore a bracelet which was a gift of the groom Her bridal bouquet was of pink roses and white daisies accented with stephanotis and babies breath.Patty Lovell, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Pam Eggert, Dona Moore, Nan Richardson and Debbie Van-deberg of Colton, Wash. They wore gowns of bias cut hot pink and white plaid organza over crinoline. Deep ruffles edged the long full skirts and the necklines were defined by double ruffled capeiets. The waists of the gowns were circled with cummerbunds trimmed with matching rosettes. Short white gloves and headpieces of daisies and babies breath completed their ensembles and they carried bouquets of white daisies, babies breath, and fern with hot pink streamersFlower girl Jennifer Hoffman of Havre wore a long dress of white dotted swiss with puffed sleeves and a pink velvet sash and carried a basket of pink petals.The bridegroom was attended by Ray Staples as best man and groomsmen were Bud Christopherson, Ed Cobb, Joe Hulett and Lyle Miller. Joe Lovell, brother of the bride, Dan Keller, Greg Childree and Frank Preite ushered The groom was attired in all white formal wear and his attendants in grey tuxedos with pink shirts. Heath Childree, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer and wore a white tuxedo.The mother of the bride wore a floor length classic shirtwaist style gown of floral printed pink chiffon and had a corsage of pink and white roses The mother of the bridegroom chose a long dress of navy and whitepolka dot silk jersey with ruffled jacket and had a corsage of pink roses.Soloist Debbie Leeds sang “Somewhere My Love,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” “Wedding Song” and “The Lord's Prayer” accompanied by Bill Lisenby, organist.The tables at the reception held in the church social hall following the ceremony were decrated with centerpieces of flowers made by the bridegroom’s mother The five tiered all white wedding cake was topped with fresh flowers and cut by Diane Watkins and Nancee Elletson. Karen Brazer poured coffee and punch was served by Kris LaSalle Laura Keller, Kayette Childree, Renee Hoven and Mary Pat Bebee attended the gift table and the guest book was attended by Shawna Eklund. The bride was honored at wedding showers given by Mrs. Ann Kuhr, by Dona Moore and Annette Stolz, by the NorthCommunity women and at a luncheon given by Mrs. Shirley Eggert and Pam Eggert.Following a honeymoon toDisneyland, the couple is making its home north of Havre where the groom farms and ranches with his father. Both Mr. and Mrs. Shrauger are graduates of Havre High Schooland the bride attended theUniversity of Montana and Kinman Business University. She is employed as a dental assistant by Dr. P.J.
