A chapel cap secured her chapel length veil trimmed with lace and blue rosettes. The bride carried a cascade of white carnations tipped in blue, pink sweetheartroses, lilies of the valley andstephanotis atop Rainbow Bible.a whiteThe identical gowns of the attendants were styled like that of the bride in blue embossed with white flowers. The maid of honor’s gown was in a lighter shade of blue. They wore picture hats with streamers and carried fireside baskets of white daisies, pink and blue pompons, pink roses and baby’s breath.The flower girl’s gowns were styled similarly to the other attendants and they wore flowers in their hair. They also carried miniature fireside baskets. A reception was held at the church following the ceremony and later at the Helms home at Earl Park.Hostesses were Janie Shafer, Muncie, Mrs. Ron Slavens, Indianapolis, and Mary Geheb, Delphi.
