Miss Teresa Golden Weds Fredrick DuncanThe nuptial vows of Miss Teresa Ann Golden and Fredrick E. Duncan were solemnized June 8 in the Union Hill Baptist Church.The Rev. Don Newby officiated at the 7 p.m. double ringceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace H. Golden, Route 2, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Duncan, also of Route 2.MR. AND MRS. FREDERICK DUNCANThe candlelight ceremony was held in a setting of two nine-branched candelabras adorned with greenery, baby’s breath and pink bows. The candelabras formed an arch behind the prayer bench which was also decorated with greenery and pink bows. Two seven-branched tree candelabras held white tapers and were adorned with greenery, baby’s breath and pink bows stood on either side of the stage.Family pews were marked with white bows with pink baby's breath.Mrs. Barbara Newby. Ada, was pianist. She played traditional wedding marches and accompanied Jerry Duncan. Ada. brother of the bridegroom, wrho sang “The Twelfth of Never.”The bride was given in marriage by her father.She w’ore a formal gowrn of white silk lace and organza over crepe. It was styled with a Duchess neckline and an empire waist trimmed with lace and organza. The full lantern sleeves were caught to fitted cuffs trimmed with lace andtinv buttons.Her thrcc-tiered chapel leng-f th veil of bridal illusion was edged with wide lace and gathered to a headpiece of white ! satin flowers and baby's breath.The gown and veil were fashioned bv the bride and made by her mother.She carried a cascade of white carnations and baby's breath with w hite ribbon streamers tied in love knots over a white Bible.Mrs. Carole Holman. Ada. sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Miss Lorrie DeAnn Carroll. Edmond, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid.The attendants were dressed alike in floor-length empire gowns of pink crepe with short sleeves and scoop necklines trimmed in pink and burgundy.
