Oisan of Humboldt,Al dghl o'clock, rb the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march were fittingly rendered by Miss Janet Hew* 3It, as violinist, accompanied on the drjmn by Miss George Hewitt, the bride and groom entered the parlor and took their place beneath the arch of ferns and snow balls, where Rev. TIerr pronounced the words which -united those two young people for life. Tlie ceremony consisted of the Short elm pie rites of the Congregational church and was witnessed by only a ■few of the moat intimate friends - of the bride and groom.After congratulations had been extended to the happy couple n^flump* tuous wedding dinner was served, •which in no degree lessoned the reputation for talent in domes tic science, which the mistress of this hospitable home has long possessed, iris and 6mMax adorned the table, while the parlor wan profuse In ferns and snowballs.The bride wore a dainty gown ofchampagne mousseilne, carried a bo-quet of bridal roses, and with bridal roses In her dark hair, presented a beautiful appearance. She needs no introduction to the people of Humboldt County, ae she has been one of our talented teachers and one of our best young ladles, and is the possessor of Lhat power for good which ■will rank her In future as one of our noble women. The groom has lived fill his life In Humboldt County. For the past five years lie has occupied the position of deputy sheriff. He is one of the rising young men of Humboldt, whose character bespeaks for him tho respect and confidence of all. He Is In every way worthy of his estimable young bride.The young couple were the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents, consisting of cut glass and silver. They will ho at home to their (friends after July 1, at the sheriffs residence in Dakota City.
