Beckwith of Iake Wilson, Hillsdale, were married in the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Hillsdale.The Rev. Peter H. Beckwith, brother of the bridegroom, assisted by the Rev. Thomas Burke of the Hillsdaie CollegeBaptist Church, performed the evening double ring ceremony.The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a gown of imported reembroidered Chantilly lace accented with clusters of pearls at the high neckline, long sheer sleeves and an Empire styled lace bodice. Imported Venise lace trimmed the headpiece that held a floor length veil of illusion, trimmed with matching lace. She carried her mother's antique white Bible decorated with daisies and babies' breath.■arbara Cleveland was maid of honor. She wore a floor-length gown of pale orchid with a floral chiffon evening capelet. She carried a hurricane lantern decorated with babies' breath.Bridesmaids were Cindy Downer, Aria Headley, Victoria Burke, Kim Prime, Pat Carls and Nancy Eeighard. Their gowns were peach floor-length withfloral chiffon evening capelets, and they carried hurricane lanterns decorated with daisies and babies' breath.Robert Beckwith Jr., was best man and attendants were John Dopp, Bill Seth, David Murbash, Bill Charlton, and John Eisenreich. Ushers were Jim Gall, Chuck High and Albert Kinney, brother of the bride.A reception for 200 guests was held in the parish hall of the church. The fourtiered cake was made by Jane Marble and cut and served by Mrs. I^ee Mears, aunt of the bride, assisted by Mrs. Nancy Yarborouch, I^enora Butler, Margaret Jean Yarborouch and Denora Butler, and Tara Hubbel.The bride graduated from Reading High School in 1972 and from Central Michigan University in 1976, magna cum laude with a BS degree as a math and music major and minor in elementary education. The bridegroom graduated from Hillsdale Hieh School in 1966 and attended Alpena Community College and the University of Alabama. He was affiliated with DeltaTau Delta. He is employed as a company sales representative.They took a wedding trip to Northern Michigan and are now at home at 85 S.
