Edwin Weir 3rd exchanged nuptial vows before the Rev Maurice Goldhammer in a 4 p.m ceremony Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs, Donald M Willman. wore an ivory gown of cotton lace with satin piping. The full A-line skirt was encircled with a deep hemline flounce that trellised up to the backwaistline.Her halo brimmed hat held a double panel of cathedral length illusion She carried acolonial style corsage of white baby roses, stephanotis and baby’s breath She also carried the traditional family handkerchief, first carried by the groom's great-grandHMthtr.Maid of honor for her sister. Roberta Willman wore a gown of blue floral sheer over blue lining with a short ruffle edged bolero jacket. Her matching hat was covered with a ruffle of floral sheer.Attired similarly were bridesmaids Deborah Drew and Judith Miehaelsen, and junior maid Sandra Willman,MRS. S. EDWIN WEIREach carried a nosegay of daisies and babv’s breath.Attending the groom, son ofMr and Mrs Ed Weir Jr. of Grant, were Ered Weir of Grant, best man, John Leacock and Dan Clapper, both of Lincoln, groomsmen. Seating guests were Darrelland Randv Ieacock and Rick¥Rieke, all of lancoln, andKevin Hoskinson of Aurora.111. Debra Chalquist of Schuyler was organist and Luther Bakenhus sangSisters of the bride, Rebecca and Linda Willman, were candle lighters. Cathy Osborn of Des Moines. Iowa was guest book attendant.Cutting cake were Sue Chalquist of Schuyler and Spring Bakenhus. Deb Aemi and Jo Klug poured punch and Linda Henry and Linda Miehaelsen served coffee. At the gift table were I^eAnne Krumland and Kim Tigges.Mr. and Mrs. ByronWillman and Mr, and Mrs. Dick Pickett of Cheyenne, Wyo.. were host couples for the reception in the church parlours. A later reception was held at the VFW Club.After a wedding trip to Florida, the newlyweds will live at 240 N. 31 in Lincoln.The bride graduated from Platte College and was employed at Karen’s Bridal Shoppe, The groom is a senior at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and is presently employed as a carpenter.
