Couple to wedon June 27Mr. and Mrs. MaxieR.Self, Sr.announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Hilda Kay, to Tommy O’Neil Fowler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin O’Neil Fowler of Memphis.Miss Self attended Greenville High School and recently graduated from the Patricia Stevens Finishing and Career School in Memphis, Tennessee. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. G.Y. Rowland, Sr. and the late Mr. Rowland of Greenville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clint Self of Glen Allan.The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Richard Scott and Die late Mr. Scott of Tupelo and Mrs. Charles B. Fowler and the late Mr. Fowler of Memphis. He attended Tech High School and is employed by his father who is a building contractor in Memphis.The wedding will be solemnized June 27th in the Trinity United Methodist Church of Greenville.
