Bridger, Jackson Rites ReadPenelope Lynd Jackson and George Hugo Bridger were married in a 4:30 p.m. service June 15, at Apartment 7 F, Fort Ritwn, home of Mr. and Mrs. William Ezekiel Lynd, parents of the bride. Mr. Bridger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Bridger, Savannah, Ga.Members of both familns attended the wedding. Following the civil ceremony, the marriage was blessed at the Church of the Advent by the Bev. J. Rufus Stewart.Escorted by hir father, the bride wore a pastel blue silk lace dress, fashioned with bell-ihaped skirt and long sleeves. Her accessories were in a matching color and she wore • white orchid corsage.Best man was H. F. Ambos, Sr.. of Savannah.ReceptionFollowing the ceremony a re* jtption was held in the CrystalRoom. The cake was decorated with yellow and white with two white orchids on top. The table centerpiece was a crystal and silver epergne with majestic daisies, stephanotis and fern, with silver eandelabras and compotes. 1 The table was garlanded-with fern.Bride’s cake was served by Mrs. M. J. White and Mrs. .1. H; Rogers;: gfOom’s cake by Mrs. Muir Humphrey and Mrs. James L. Mayer: punch by . Mrs. J. Bridger and the bridal couple received guests,Mrs. Lynd wore a sand colored linen lace sheath with matching accessories and a pink orchid corsage. Mrs. Bridger wore a mint green dress withmatching accessories end corsage.Wedding TripAfter returning from the honeymoon in Acapulco. Mexico, the couple will be at home at 10 Cowan Terrace, Brownsville.For going away the bride wore a red, white and navy blue striped sheath and white linen sleeveless coat with navy stitching and buttons, and white accessories.Out of tow n guests were Mr. and Mrs. A.
