Mrs. Harold Pakel was organist. Preceding the ceremony Tom Kiernan, of Alton, sang “I Love You Truly”, and during the ceremony, he sang “The Lord's PrayeriMrs. Hairy Ver Hoeven and Mrs. McNulty wore navy gowns and red carnation corsages. White satin bows and lillies of the valley trimmed the center pews.A reception was held in the church basement for the 125 guests.The four tiered wedding cake was topped with a miniature bride and .groom with a tiny stairway leading from the base to the top of the cake. White bells and candles tied with green ribbon bordered the cake.Miss Barbara Calsbeek registered the gizests and Mrs. Preston Wobbema and Mrs. Kenneth Vanden Berg displayed the gifts. . \ •The waitresses' were Mrs. Jack Mouw, Mrs.’Edwin Meyer, Mrs. Deimar Kloster, and the Misses Darlene Mouwt Marlys DeJong,Wall*'!
