Muriel Ver Hoeven Marries Lew Mays on Friday, June 10Miss. Muriel Lorraine Ver Hoeven, daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. Harry Ver Hoeven became the bride of Richard Lew Mays, son of Mr. and Mrs. E- J. McNulty of Huntington Park, Calif., at eight o’clock Friday evening, June 10 at the First Reformed Church.Rev. H. Colenbrander perform-} ed the double ring ceremony before a white trellis laden with ferns and mock orange blossoms and flanked by two pairs of candleabra.The bride was lovely in a white satin gown with long train.- The yoke and pointed sleeves were of imported chantilly lace.' A diirr-ed inset of nylon net edged the bottom of the yoke. A tiny lace hat held the finger tip veil of fine net, edged with wide border of Chantilly, lace. Her corsage was of red roses* •The bride was given in marriage by her.-father. Mrs. JamesRonstetter, the former Mavis Geurink, was matron of honor and wore a soft green formal.• JudyVan : Peiirsem, niece of the bride, was flower girL Her dress was of light green net' over satin. *■Lyle Haldin of Sioux Rapids, friend of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Galen Miller, a friend of the groom, and Clifford Harm el ink, cousin of the bride. The men wore navy blue suits. The bride’s brother, Roger Ver Hoeven carried the rings on a heart shaped white satin pillow.Mrs. Harold Pakel was organist.
