Miss Bette Jo Roane Complimented At Pre-nuptial ShowerFEtlt;On the evening of Tuesday,June 14, Miss Bette Jo Roane, jjf bride-elect of Ford Fallin, was1 ^ honored at a miscellaneous show-'er in the home of Mrs. Irvin Fal- ^ lin on South Farmerville withMrs. Mary Lee Chandler and Mrs. W. T. Garner as co-hostesses.The receiving rooms were lovely. being decorated with beauti- i j, ful arrangements of specimen dah- j lias and giant daisies.aCThe guests were welcomed by the hostesses, with Miss Roane, her mother, Mrs. Frank Roane, and the groom’s mother, Mrs. B. L. Fallin, in the receiving line.fPink and yellow was tne color motif employed on the dining table, which was laid with a handsome lace cloth. The centerpiece consisted of an artistic arrangement of yellow pom-pom dahlias, daisiess, and tiny clusters of pink hydrangeas flanked by j i yellow tapers burning in crystal j J holders. A very dainty garland ; ^ of fern and flowers of the chosen \ ( color scheme encircled the punch !, bowl which adorned one end of the table where Mrs. W. T. Garner presided. She .was assisted in the serving courtesies by Mrs. H. A.
