Musserof Abilene in the heme of thebride's parents, Saturday evening.The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Sarah Musser of Altoona. Pa.The bride wore a street length dress of white faille with sweetheart neckline and styled with a peplum. She carried a family heirloom white lace handkerchief and a 62 year old Bible topped with an orchid. She wore a blue rhinestone bracelet and earrings belonging to Mrs. Robert Brewer of Merkel.Dixie Huffman of Fort Worth, cousm of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a dress of aqua crepe, white accessories and a corsage of white carnations Frank C. McFarland of Merkel was best man To a Wild Rose was played by Mary Rebecca Gardner of Merkel during the ceremony.At the reception, hosted by the parents o fthe bride. Mrs. C. C. Jones served the three tiered wedding cake from a crystal cake stand which was used at the reception following the marriage of the bride s grandmother. Mrs. G J Jones. 60 years ago. Mrs M H Huffman of Fort Worth ladled punch from a crystal bowl outlined with fern and daisies Dora Gaither and Mrs. Johnny Cox assisted in serving and Mrs E L. Grimes presided at the guest registry'.The bride is a graduate of Merkel high school and attended Texas State College for Women at Denton and has been employed at Camp Barkeley and the Abilene Army Air Field for the past three years. The bridegroom is on terminal leave and served six monthsm Japan. He is a graduate of Altoona high school and attended Pennsylvania State college.Following a short wedding trip, the couple will live at 2130 North Third in Abilene, where Musser is employed in the shoe department of Grissom s.For traveling the bride wore a tailored blue suit, white accessories and a white silk blouse sent to her by the bridegioom from Japan.• IIA rehearsal dinner was hosted Friday evening by Mrs Robert Hicks in her home in Merkel following the rehearsal of the wedding She was assisted by Mrs Ben R Hicks.THl ABILIN!
