Point Marion Couples Wed On June NinthNewly wed a Leave After Nuptials; On Honeymoon To Washington, D. C.A wedding of unusual interest; was that of Miss Roselma Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mis. Leonard Stewart, of McKinley Hill, Point Marion, and Robert Creel, son or Mr. anti Mrs. Samuel Creel, also of Point Marion, which took place in the Trinity Methodist church there on June 9, 1939.The single ring service was read by the Rev. D. C. Robbins, pastor ol' the church, in the prepuce of numerous relatives and friends. The chancel rail was beautifully decorated with roses.The bride wore a lovely ensernoie of navy blue with matching hat turn accessories. Her corsage was maae of rose buds and lilies of the valley.Mrs. Roger Brogneaux, attendant, was attired in white and her corsage was made of sweet peas. Mr. Brogneaux served as best man for t lie bridegroom.Karlier in the day, Mr. and Mrs, Brogneaux were united In marriage [\ aft lie St. Hubert’s parsonage, with vj Rev. Fr. A. M. Bendick officiating.] i Mrs, Brogneaux was the former rj Miss June Gaylord.Mrs. Creel was a member of the 193G graduating class of the Point Marion high school, and since that tune has been employed with the M. T. Sisler Insurance company at Morgantown, W. Va.Mr. Creel graduated from uie Point Marion high school with the| class of '34, and since that time hasj been employed in Point Marion. ;Both Mr. and Mrs. Borgneaux arc] Point Marion high school graduates, also, and immediately following the Creel-Slewart nuptials, the two couples left for a wedding trip to Washington, 0.
