Gigg home, five and a half miles southeast of here, was the scene of a brilliant June wedding last night at 8:15 when Miss Marjorie Gibb, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Gibb, became the wife of Esthol F. Mudd of this place. The ceremony was performed on the large porch of the Gibb home in the presence of one hundred guests, by Dr. Kyle, pastor of the Media United Presbyterian church. The guests were seated on the lawn, which was electric lighted for the occasion.Preceding the ceremony Miss Jennie Pearson sang “1 Love You Truly” and at the appointed hour she played the wedding march. To its strains the bridal part took their positions on the porch under a beautiful arch of green foliage trimmed with pink roses.Miss Modal ine Park was the bridesmaid and Dale Stice was the best man.
