Keen, Ketterer are wed in MavCHARLESTON - St.Henry’s Catholic Church was the scene for the May 18 wedding of Miss Brenda Ruth Keen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Keen, and Albert T. Ketterer, son of Joseph Ketterer and the late Marie Ketterer.The Rev. Michael Swilina officiated, and Sister Beatrice Marie was organist.The bride wore a white crepe empire gown with Chantilly lace bodice. She carried a casacade of white roses accented with pink lily of the valley.Miss Denise Keen, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Gail Keen, sister of the bride, Miss Molly Ketterer, sister of the groom, and Miss Patsy Eftink. Their empire gowns were pink and they carried bouquets of pink roses.Phillis and Becky Keen,sisters of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. they wore pink gowns and carried single roses. Another sisterof the bride, Tina Keen, was flower girl, and the bride’s brother, Randy Keen was ringbearer.James Conn was best man, and groomsmen were Mark and Ray Ketterer, brothers of the groom and Mike Keen, brother of the bride. Chuck Bruenderman and Ken Pemberton were ushers.Mrs. Ketterer is a 1971 graduate of Charleston High School and is employed by Missouri Distributors of Cape Girardeau.The groom is a senior at Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau. He is a member of the Air Force ROTC and Phi Sigma Epsilon, social fraternity.The couple will live in Cape Girardeau.
