Schooley-Linkenhoker Rites Read June 3In an 8 p. m. ceremony, June 3 at the Methodist church in Thurman, Sharlyn Schooley became the bride of A/3c Jerry Lee Linken-hoker. The Rev. Albert Clements performed the single ring ceremony before an altar banked with baskets of white gladioli.Mr, and Mrs. Clarence Schooley of Thurman, are parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr3. Kathleen Hights and Max Linkenhoker of Pera, Ind.Keith Hickey, soloist, sang “Because and “0 Perfect Love,” accompanied by Mrs. Marie Davison.The bTide, given in marriage by her lather, • chose a Feare of New York styled gown of white silk organza over taffeta. The fitted bodice was designed with a round neckline and short sleeves.The full length skirt, accented with lace and sequin appliques, ended In a chapel train of Chantilly lace. Her fingertip veil was held by a Miss America crown of pearls and sequins.She wore a string of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom, and carried a bouquet of white butterfly roses on a white Bible.Maid of honor was Carol Swain of Omaha, and Connie Schooley served her sister as bridesmaid. Both were attired in blue satin street length dresses and carried white carnations.Candle lighters were Sheila Schooley, sister of the bride, and Mary Reed, the bride’s cousin. Carol Reed, another cousin of the bride, was flower girl. •James Myrick was best man and Tom Swayn was groomsman. All men in the wedding party wore their Air Force uniforms.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Schooley chose a lace trimmed beige linncn dress with white accessories. Her corsage was of blue carnations.
