Miss Dollie Mae SebastyIs Wed To Richard SchmaltzBUCHANAN. June 15 — Baskets of vari-colored peonies and majestic daisies and lighted tapers in candelabra formed a pretty setting for the wedding of Miss Dollie Mae Sebasty and Richard Schmaltz, at 8 p. m. Saturday in the Church of Christ, White satin bows marked the pews.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sebasty, route one, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Schmaltz, route one, Baroda.Prior to the service LaVonne Zel-mer sang ‘‘Because*’ and *‘I Love Yop Truly.” Miss Joy Long worth was the organist and Rev. James W. Greenwood read the double ting service.The bride wore a gown of white net and lace over satin, fashioned with a tulle yoke outlined with satin scallops, round neckline, fitted bodice and full skirt with a court train. Her shoulder-length veil of net was appliqued with lace flowers and fell from a tiara of pearlized orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet of white roses.Miss Marie Sebasty. sister of the bride, was maid of honor and her gown was green net over talleta. She wore a headdress of coral-colored carnations and carried abouquet of the same flowers. Miss Marjorie Mitchell and Miss Alene Ferris were bridesmaids. Miss Mitchell wore orchid net over taffeta with yellow carnationsin her headdress and bouquet. Miss Ferris wore yellow net over taffeta and her headdress and bouquet were orchid-colored carnations. The bride's sister, Ruth, was flower girl and wore a gown of white satin and net and carried a basket of rose petals. Her brother, Robert Sebasty was the ring bearer.Jack Sargct, Glendora, was best man and the other male attendants were the bridegroom's brother, Ar-lyn Schmaltz and Lester Sebasty, brother of the bride. The ushers were Duane Schmaltz, brother of the bridegroom. William Breuek, Glendora and John Schmaltz, Ba-rod a, cousin of the bridegroom.For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Sebasty wore an afternoon dress of pale blue linen with a corsage of yellow roses The bridegroom’s mother wore a dress of light blue rayon crepe and corsage of yellow roses.Lansing and Reese. Mich., LaPorte and South Bend, Ind., and the surrounding communities.The bride was graduated from Buchanan high school and is employed in the office of the Clark Equipment company. Mr. Schmaltz was graduated from New Troy high school in 1949 and is a farmer. After a honeymoon at Niagara Falls, the young couple will live on a farm near Baroda.Joan Kane BecomesBride Of David BestAfter the ceremony a reception for about 400 guests was held in the church parlors. Rev. H. Carlyle Carson performed the ceremony.The couple was attended by the bridegroom’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs, Robert Cline, Buchanan. After a wedding trip through northern Michigan, Mr. and Mrs. Best are living on a farm west of Buchanan.
