Elliott—Beesley.In the quiet, but progressive community of Walnut Grove, which has furnished its full quota of bright young men and women that have grown up and gone out to make the world wiser and better, was consummated last Tuesday evening the marriage of two of its best young people,. Enos Elliott and Buth Pearl Beesley. Schooled, grown up and matured, as near neighbors, it is with a good understanding of each other that they take up life's journey together.The elegant home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Beesley, was profusely decorated for the occasion of the wedding. All about the rooms were artistically decorated with flowers. The long, long verandas were made into beauty bowers, mid which Japanese lanterns shed their mellow light. The parlor bay window was decorated in a back ground of evergreen and was bordered with white flowers. From the arch was suspended the marriage bell made of white flowers, beneath which th young couple plighted their troth.Promptly at 8 o’clock, Miss Delia Bees begun the music of the wedding march and 100 guests in quiet solemnity beheld the hour in which the bridegroom cometh. The groom accompaniedby Bev. G. Woody, uncle of the brideand master of ceremonies led the way to the marriage altar, followed by four ribbon bearers that bannistered the way for the bride through the guest chamber. As she approached, the groom left the altar, met her and returning the ceremony was performed most impressively.At the close, the Beene was changed to the dining room, where light hearts mid gaiety were on pleasure bent while courses of refreshments were served. At a late hour the guests departed after wishing the bride and groom long life and prosperity in their future home which the groom has already a neat cottage awaiting their occupancy.
