Gilliam and the bridgroom is the son of Virgil D. Atkinson, all of Yuba City.The bride’s gown was fashioned with soft flowing skirt made with a chapel-length train, a high filled neckline banded with venise lace and accented by seed pearls, long, fitted sleeves with matching lace and buttons at the wrists. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion, edged in matching lace, fell from a Juliet cap with matching lace scattered with seed pearls. Baby blue roses and bows accented the cake, which was encircled at the base by white daisies and fern. The cake was made by Mrs. Joseph Becker of Yuba City.Serving guests were Mrs. Howard Hall, Shelley Nason, Shannon Myers and Sue McLean. Diane Townsend handled the guest book and Donna Carr was in charge of the gift table.Roxane is a 1973 graduate of Yuba City High School and she attended Yuba College. Her husband, a 1972 graduate of YCHS. is attending Yuba College. He recently completed a two-year mission for the LDS Church.Prior to their marriage.
