The ceremony was read inthe Kickapoo Baptist Church by Ronnie Chesser, ministerial student at Jacksonville BaptUt College and Rev. R. W. Blackmon, father of the bride, and pastor of Sunset Baptist Churcih in Lamesa.The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. R. W. Blackmon of La mesa and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther McCutchen of Bronte.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street length gown of white lace over satin, featuring long pointed sleeves. HerMRS. BEAVER HOSTESS TO KICKAPOO W. M. A.Mrs. Claude Beaver was hostess to the Kickapoo W. M. A. Monday night for the monthly business meeting and program. Tom Luttrell and Jimmy Ed Mackey were ushers.Carolyn Wright of Pasadena, Texas was soloist and sang “Always”, “Whither Thou Gaest” and “Wedding Prayer.” Carolyn Glenn accompanied her at the piano.A reception followed the wedding at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. R. McQueen. About 85 wedding guests were present.For a wedding trip to Carlsbad, N. M., the bride wore a light blue Irish linen suit. They were to return June 12 to make their home at 405 E. 29th St. in Odessa where Mr. McCutchen is employed by Texas Natural Gas Co.Both Mf. and Mrs. McCutchen are' graduates of Bronte high school.
