Reverend T. Hanson of Williams performed the double t ring ceremony ir. the presence of i 250 guests. 1The altar was lighted with white , tapers held by two seven-branch \ pedestal candelabras, and was dec- y orated with two large white basket i arrangements *of white gladioli ‘ with blue satin ribbons. The pews, ( down the white carpeted aisle, had candles tied with white wedding i bows and greenery. The jshers, ( the bride’s brother and the grooms ^ brother-in-law, Gerald Isvik and « Marion Izer respectively, lighted t the candles. *Mrs. Oliver Hill, pianist, played J selections of music as the guests r assembled. Miss Lillian Guhi of t Des Moines, an aunt of the bride, 1 registered the guests as they varrived. Mrs. Stanley Heggen of (*Ames, an aunt of the bride, sang i For My Mother” as the mothers 1 were ushed to their pews. The fitted I bodice of lace had a yoke of sheer \nylon tulle with a standing lace c Peter Pan collar. The long sleeves v tapered to deep bridal points over jthe wrist and the full gathered s skirt featured inserts of rose-point IaUce. The gown fastened down the t1back with tiny self-covered buttons, j Her finger-tip veil of nylon tulle was attached to a capulette of lace j and trimmed In seed pearls andjj sequins. A simple strand of pearls was a gift from the groom.The bride carried a white Bible topped with a white orchid with satin streamers that were tied with bows and love knots and entwined with white rose buds. The detachable orchid was worn on her going away costume. jMrs. Marion Izer, sister of thebridegroom, served as maid ofhonor. Bridesmaid was Miss Car-|men Brandt of Swea City, collegeroommate of the bride, and junior1 bridesmaid was Marilyn Isvik, sister of the bride. All were gowned In floor length identical blue crys-tallette dresses. The gowns were fashioned with a round neckline with a scalloped ' band, short scalloped sleeves, and a bouffant •kirt. They wore matching mitts and the headbands were of ruffled white tulle and blue flowers. They I carried a white colonial bouquet i of gladioli with blue lacelon and white streamers. They wore a single strand of pearls, gift of the bride.Mary Heggen of Ames, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a floor length gown of white nylon brocade with a low neckline and puffed sleevs. she wore matching mitts and her headpiece was of matching tulle and white flowers. She wore a single strand of pearls, gift of the bride. The white basket was trimmed with blue daisies and a satin bow, and it contained gladioli petals.The rlngbearer, Gregory Hueb-ner of Alden, nephew of the groom, wore a white tuzedo with a black how tie and had a blue boutonniere.The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Marvin Williams, as best man. Groomsman was Perry McClelland of Springfield, Illinois, friend of Che groom. Juniorgroomsman was Rodney Huisman of Williams. AH men of the wedding party wore navy blue suits white lt;and white carnation boutonnieres.For her daughter’s marriage, Mrs. Isvik was attired in a light blue acetate and cotton dress. Theqther of the groom wore a lighta cotton dress wltlblue ravon ana cotton dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink tea roses. The bride’s grandmothers, Mrs. Albert Guhl, Sr. and Mrs. S. A. Isvik of Jewell wore corsages of white carnations. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors with Mrs, Benard Huisman cs hostess.
