A wedding of unusual interest | took place on Wednesday evening, June 13th, at 7:30 o’clock at the Presbyterian parsonage, when Miss Eva Pearl Depatis, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Depatis, and Orville Soueie, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Soueie, were united in marriage by Rev, S. F. Wenger. So closely had the affair been guarded that not even their most intimate friends had an inkling of their intentions until about a week previous to the wedding. They are both well and favorably known and both were born and have been reared near St. Anne. They come from good families, and are both graduates of the St. Anne high school, Mr. Soueie being a member of the graduating class of 1920 and his bride a member of the class of 1923, the graduating exercises being held at the opera house on Thursday evening of last week. They left on Thursday morning for Chicago, where they will spend several days with relatives and friends. Their plans for the future have not been divulged but whatever they may he they havethe best wishes of a host of friendsfor a very happy and successful voyage on the seas of life.
