Kenneth Broad officiating.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond McFarland of Rt. I, Winamac, and ■ the groom is the son of Mr. and 'Mrs. John Binkley of Star City.Baskets of white gladiolus, palms and candelabra decorated the altar.Miss Mary Thompson of Star City,. accompanied the soloist, Beverly Crowell, as she sang three wedding songs.GIVEN IN MARRIAGE by her father, the bride appeared in a floor-length gown of peau de soie and re-embroidered lace with a chspel'kngth train.. A headpiece oi stephanotis secured her elbow-length veil1 and she carried a cascade of daisies and pompons.1 Miss Bonnie McFarland, sis-| ter of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Miss Karen Sue Roberts of Cerro Gordo. 111., Miss Barbara Binkley, sister of the groom, of Star City, and Mrs. Margaret Hawvermale of Germantown, Ohio, were bridesmaids.MISS CRYSTAL McFarland, ■niece of the bride, was flower girl.The maid of honor wore a fioor-length gown of pink shantung with a matching headpiece of a bow and daisies. The bridesmaids were attired in matching gowns of a lighter shade of pink. Each carried an arrangement of daisies. The i flower girl wore a floor-length gown of white shantung and carried a white basket of pink rose petals,James Slater of Bloomington, was best man, with Mike McFarland, brother of the bride, Gary BonnelJ of Franklin Park,111., and Tom Leitz of New Albany, as groomsmen. Craig Bowen of New Albany, and Kenneth McFarland, brother of the bride, of Winamac, were ushers.MIKE MCFARLAND, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.A reception was held in the church social room with Miss Joyce Clinton of Virden, 111., Miss Pat Bickel of Andrews, Miss Judy Stevens of Angola and Miss La Rea Lawvere of Franklin as hostesses.A graduate of Star City High School, the bride is a 1963 graduate of Manchester College with a degree in elementary education. The groom is a graduate of Winamac High School and a 1969 graduate of Indiana University where he earned a degree in business. He is employed with General Motors in Flint, Mich.Following a wedding trip to Michigan and lower Canada, the couple will reside in Flint, Mich.
