Violet Kallsen and Laverne Helmrichs United In Candlelight CeremonyMII-lgDf1CSS1Cinitsn*[eGreenery, spring flowers, umj candelabra formed the background for the marriage ceremony Sunday. June 12. at 8 p. nt„ at the Preston township Lutheran church, when Miss Violet Kallsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Kallsen of Akron, became the bride of Laverne Helmrichs, son of Mr,* and Mrs. Henry Helmrichs of I reton. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. H. F. Slief.A prelude of organ music was rendered by Mrs. Glen Gable as the guests assembled. Before the bride entered the church, Mrs. Hugh Swift sang “Because,** accompanied by Mrs. Gable, while Miss Inez Jacobs and Miss Mary Jean Hartman, dressed in green formats and wearing carnation corsages, lighted the tapers forming the outline of the main aisle. During the ceremony Mrs. Swift sang *‘1 Love You Truly*’ and ’The Lord’s Prayer.’ The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a white marquisette over satin gown, styled in classic lines and trimmed in wide Chantilly lace. The softly draped skirt fell into a cathedral train. Her fingertip veil of illusion was worn with a beaded tiara and she carried a cascade bouquet of white gladioli centersdiplt;diIcT«iloSICahecr-re.k-Letoonbetoaely a atcd with yeilosv roses. Her only | i.jewelry was a single strand of pearls, a gift of the groom.The maid of honor, Norma Jean Kallsen, and the bridesmaids, Mrs. John Luschen and Mrs. Clarence Kallsen, wore identical gowns of green, orchid, and yellow respectively. They wore hats and gloves of net in matching colors. Their flowers were colonial bouquets of roses and carnations.Ushers were Lloyd Kallsen and Richard Wilt. c*j' | The little flower girl, Linda Rac|10t’ Hartman, wore a floor length gown to of yellow net over satin and carried a basket of cut flowers. The ring wc bearer was Larry Swift, who was tjlc dressed in white.jn The groom and Ids attendants, csl- Lowell Hartman, John Luschen and Clarence Kallsen, wore dark business suits and white carnation boutonnieres. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Kallsen chose a street length dress of navy sheer. Mrs. Helmrichs also wore navy.
