A wedding of local interest was f impressively solemnized Saturday morning, June 8, at 8:30 o’clock at St. Mary’s church in De-Kalb at which time, Miss De-lores Grasher, who has been employed at f the Ideal Commutator Dresser Company here for several years, became the bride of Joseph Greek of DeKaHn The Rev. •Father Charles Quinn read the double rfcg ceremony.They were attended by Mrsr Ralph Stevenson of Salem, sister of the bride, pnd Edward Greek of Hinsdale, brother of the groom*Preceding the nuptial rites, Mrs. Robert McCormick effei?* tively sang “On This Day O* Beautiful Mother.” and “Ave Maria.”*m aThe church altars were beautifully* decorated with white and pink peonies, carnations and snapdragons.The attractive bride was lovely in her blue sheer marquisette dress fashiohed street length. She wore a shbulder length white Veil and Garried a white prayer book, from which fell a shower of satin streamers, tied with fever, few and ferns.Her attendant chose a pink sheer marquisette and white hat and her flowers Were sweet peas and carnations.Folio wihg/vthe ceremony a breakfast was served* at the Rice Hotel td the bridal party, relatives and a few close friends.Later a dinner was served thebridal/ party - at the Greek home.The newjfey weds left on a brief honeymoon to Chicago, the bride wearing a smartly styled black and white check dressmaker suit.Sycamore friends join with De-Kalb friends in extending felicitations to them.
