Johnston’s cottage, Coshocton Lake Park.Places were arranged for Miss Hay, . guest of honor, Mrs. Paul Rice, Mrs. George Fischer, Mrs. Joseph W. Johnston, Misses Carrie B. Glass, Dorothy L. Davis, Anna McCabe, Helen. Kucklich, Josephine Baughman and the hostess.Miss Kay left later in. the evening for Cleveland, and will leave Saturday for Berkeley, Calif., where she has accepted an appointment as director of the public health nursing course at the University of California,*—* .Mrs. F. G. Meloy will arrive this ■evening from North Vernon, Ind., for a visit with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred B, Compton, 832 Main st.*The following are among those from this city who attended various sessions of the- Republican convention at Cleveland this week: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Q. Snader, Jr., Akron, took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Rahn Wednesday morning at U o’clock. Rev. William Nelson, Glenmont, performed the single ring ceremony.Ruth Hunter, of Howard, classmate of the bride, was maid of honor. Carl Mohlmaster. Akron, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man.The bride's sister, -Mrs. Hubert W. Frye, furnished the nuptial music. The bride wore an attractive white silk taffeta gown with a short jacketand white accessories. She carried a corsage of white'snapdragons and .white sweet peas.The maid of honor wore a light green crepe dress with a shore jacket and white accessories.
