RUSSELL—CHAFEA VERY pretty wedding taok place at St. Andrew’s Church, Petty Har bor on Thursday last, when Miss Lizzie Chafe, daughter of Mr. J. Chafe of Petty Harbor was united in matri-niony to Mr. William Russell of Freshwater Road ,this city.The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Hewitt in the presence of a large number of friends of the contracting parties.The bride was attired in a costume of white satin with veil and orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and maiden hair fern. She was attended by Miss Bessie Miller and Miss Jessie Russell, while Bugler Russell of the Newfoundland Regimen and Mr. Robert Chafe supported the groom.Following1 the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride after which the happy couple motored to the home of the groom’s parents where they will spend a few days before leaving for Burgeo their future home.The Star extends congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Russell and wishes them many years of happiness.T
