Baldwin-Hall.Samuel L. Baldwin and MiasElla Hall were married at high noon Tuesday, by Justice Asa Osborn, at the home of BartonHall in this city.The license was secured some weeks ago. but the ceremony was not' performed until the date above. It was thought, howeverever, that they had been quietly married, by many, which proved untrue.Only members of the immediate family were present at the ceremony. Their many friends extend congratulat ons.Both Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin were barn and raised in this county, he having formerly lived in Shawnee township, where he was trustee for several yearsand was a strong republican worker, and she in Pulton town-sh p, being a daughter of the lateuJames Hail, one of the county’sbest citizBns.For the past year Mr. Baldwin has been at the Danville Soldiers’| Home, where he held a responsible position in the management of the Home. He is now on a sixty day furlough and after spending a few days in Danville, they wi:l go to Lafayette for avisit at the Home there and with friends.Both hive passed life’s meridian and as they journey dowtf its declining slope, may the roadway be strewn with the brightest flowers.
