§Ti3ko:nWASPctlcoDhtsfMcComas-haupt.A pretty home wedding was that solemnized in the presence of about twenty guests, Wednesday at high noon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Haupt, South Second street, Cayuga, when their only daughter, Louise Francis, became the brideof Mr. Louis Van McComas. ,The Haupt home was tastefully decorated for the occasion with cut flowers and potted plants.Proceeding theceremony, Mrs. Milton Laughlin sweetly sang “Oh! Promise hie.” The young couple entered the parlor to the strains of Lohengren’s Wedding March and proceeded to an arch beautifully decorated withmyrtle and cut flowers, where they were met by the minister, Rev. G. W. Pearce, where the beautiful and impressive ceremony of the full Presbyterian ritual was performed. During the ceremony Mrs. Laughlin rendered on the piano, “Thine Own.”After congratulations, the guests, led by the bride and groom, repaired to the dining room, where a fine three course dinner was served.The out of town guests were: Mrs. Mary Haupt and daughter Bessie, grandmother and aunt of the bride, of Indianapolis; Mrs. William McComas and daughter Ruth.mother and sister of groom, Harry Ferling and Walter Gray, all of Covington; Miss Viola Long,of Crawfordsville.« \The bride and groom were the recipients df many useful and handsome presents. They left in the afternoon amid a shower of rice and old shoes, for their i home in Covington, where the 1 groom is employed in J. Loeb’s store, and where Mr. and Mrs. McComas will be at home to their many friends, on East Washing- J ton street. 1aC(bI11
