3,000 Attend Christ Crusade At FairgroundsOver 3.000 persons attended the fourth meeting of a four state Crusade far Christ being held this week nt the fairgrounds.Evangelist Dr. Jack Van Impe, preached on The New Birth.” He said* “As the physical birth produces life, new birth produces eternal life,”He emphasized that this newbirth will bring abnutrighteousness, iove, and also victory over worldliness.In the course of the service, Dr. Impe quoted over 85 Bible verses. He pointed cut that the New Testament prophc sizes that in the last days, narcotics addiction will be prevalent all over the world.A highlight of tfic service wasa recital by the 100 voice choir under the leadership of Lindsay Terry.Dr. Impc’s wife, Rcxella, was Ihc soloist and sang several selections.
