CEDAR FALLS — Miss Susan Kay Votroubek and Mr. Gary Robert. Bates, Cedar Falls, were married Saturday in the Cedars’alls College Hill Lutheran Church.The Rev Edgar Brammer performed the 2 p.m. ceremony. Mrs. Bates is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Votroubek, Solon, and her husband is the'son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bates. Des Moines.(grandmother completed the bri-ji dal ensemble.The bride wore an A-line floor-ength gown of Karati linen styled with a bateau neckline, Kabufci sleeves appiiqued with iace, and a chapel train bordered with lace and held by a Dior bow. A cluster of organza petals held her fingertip veil. A bouquet of white daisies and baby’s breath, and a diamond lavaliere belonging to her;Matron of honor was Mrs. Lyle Wilkes, Solon. Her A-line floor-length gown of turquoise rayon-linen featured a bateau neckline. A headbow accented with flowers held her turquoise veil. She carried a single white mum.Mr. Verne Charles Bates, Desl Moines, was his brother’s best' man. Ushering were the Messrs.
