Schepers-Laymon weddingMiss Diane Schepers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Schepers of 1337 Jackson St., Jasper, became the bride of Jay Laymon of R. 1, Jasper, at 2 p.m. May 14 in the St. Joseph Parish Center in Jasper. Vows were exchanged in a double ring ceremony before the Rev. Carl Shetler. Mr. Laymon is the son of Larry K. Laymon of California and Martha Dixon of Tennessee.Maid of honor was Sonya Pryor. R. 2, Jasper, a friend of the bride. Best man was Kenny Petry, R 1, an uncle. Brenda Schepers of 1337 Jackson St., Jasper, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid; and Mitch Ahrens, 1209 Mill St., Jasper, was usher.The bride was given in marriage by her father.A dinner was held at the Holiday Inn in Jasper.For a wedding trip to California,the bride traveled in a three-piece yellow pantsuit.
