Working-Phipps Nuptials Sealed in Methodist RiteIii Belmont Heights Methodist Church Miss Joanne Phipps and John Wesley Working took wedding vows on May 26. The Rev. Richard- V. Kendall officiated at the double ring service 'for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Walter Phipps,’4811 Harvey Way, and the son of Mr, and Mrs. K. £. Working, also of Long Beach.Embroidered cotton satin, styled with billowing skirt and a short train, fashioned the bride’s wedding gown. Her jlluslon veil fell from a double tiara of sequins and seed pearls. White carnations circled with blue forget-me-nots and frilled with lace formed her delightful colonial bouquet.The bridegroom’s sister, Mrs. C. Walter Phipps Jr., attended the bride as matron of honor; bridesmaids were Mrs. Neil Cantwell, Miss Carol Cufimngham and another sister of the bridegroom, Miss Cora Working. All wore bouffant gowns of dotted Swiss, the matron. of honor's in orchid,' and the others in yellow, and carried colonial r.osegays. Little Kathleen Gayle Phipps was flower girl.The bride's brother, C.
