Charleen ReinkingIs Bride In JuneWeds Arthur Berken- ]pas Of SeneyA beautiful candle light wedding took place at St. John’s Lutheran church Thursday evening, June 5, at 8 o’clock, when Msss Charleen Reinking and Arthur Bergenpas, both of Le Mars, were united in holy wedlock. Rev. L. L. Belk performed the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Carl Witt presided at the organ and played the wedding march from Lohengrin. Two songs, “O Promise Me,” and “I Love You Truly,” were sung by Richard HLrseh.Attending the couple wereMiss Bertampasff ‘ ‘ ^ 'maid of honor, Dale Reinking, brother of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hindu. Ushers were Wallace Schmidt and Merle Neisius.The bride was lovely in a gown of white tulle entrain and a long laceveil. Her bouquet was of pink and white roses. Miss Berkenpas and Mrs. Hinde were gowns of pink and blue organdy. Their flowers were corsages of sweet peas.A reception followed at the home of the bride’s mother and approximately 100 guests were present. The home was prettily decorated in the bride’s chosen colors. The wedding cake was baked and decorated in white, pink and blue by Mrs, D. P. Hoffman, a friend of the couple. Misses Dorothy and Gertrude Berkenpas, Erlynne Britton and Eunice Johnson were waitresses.Mrs. Berkenpas is the daughter of Mrs. Emilie Reinking and is a graduate of the Le Mars high school, class of ’39. She has been employed as a rural school teacher.Mr. Berkenpas is engaged m farming. Inky will be at homo in Seneyabout June 15,
