STRICKER-HANDTKE.At 3 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, June 8, 1910, at the German Lutheran church, Rev. Charles Spilman performed the ceremony uniting in marriage Mr. George W. Strieker and Miss Louise Handtke. They were attended by William Handtke and Miss Kate Strieker. After the ceremony the bridalparty repaired to the home of thegroom’s parents where the receptionwas held and a wedding dinner served to about 80 invited guests. In the ■early evening the wedded couple left forMilwaukee for a short stay, and are expected home Saturday. They will begin housekeeping in the residence recently purchased by the groom in the third ward. George is the eldest sonof Charles Strieker and wife and is theproprietor of the leading pantorium in this city. He is an industrious young man of good business qualifications. The bride is the daughter of Frank Handtke and wife of Porter and worthy in every respect of the man of her choice. The wedded couple are bothwell and favorably known and have ahost of friends here who join with The Reporter in wishing them a prosperous and joyous life together.
