Patsy Adams And Wayne Jarmon MarryIn Ceremony At First Baptist ChurchA musical prelude welcomed guests to the wedding of Patsy Gail Adams and Wallace Wayne Jarmon, Saturday, May 28, at the FirstBaptist Church at 7 o’clock in the evening.Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Adams of Grand Saline are the parents of the bride. Thegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jarmon, also of Grand Saline.Rev. David Welch, brother-in-law of the bride, wasofficiating clergyman for the double-ring ceremony. He is pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dover, Florida.The altar area of the church was decorated with baskets of greenery. Blue candles and white doves adorned a white candelabra entwined with foliage .Soloist Kandy Freund presented the “Wedding Song’’ and “The Lord’s Prayer’’ with the accompaniment of Beth Reid, organist and Dixie Dickerson, pianist.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a slipper-length white chiffon gown with chapel length train. The molded bodice was covered in reembroidered Alencon lace with pearl beading. The same lace accented the upper half of the lantern sleeves. A deep flounce of chiffon created the hem of the gown. Her veil of bridal illusion was caught to a lace cap.She carried a bridal bouquet of spring flowers in rainbow colors.Marci French Clay of Katy attended the bride as maid of honor. DeNonda Adams Welch, sister of the bride of Seffner, Florida, Judy Steele of Wichita Falls and Kandy Freund of Houston were bridesmaids.The attendants wore floor length sleeveless gowns of light blue. A sheer capelet with flocked multi-colored flowers accented the gown.. Jack Castlow of Grand Saline was best man. Tommy Wallace of Waco, Ken Briggs of Dallas and Robert Bates of Grand Saline were groomsmen.Ushers were Bimmy Boyles and Ricky Plunk.Candles were lighted by David, Swain and Tony Welch, nephews of the bride of Seffner, Florida.MRS. WAYNE JARMONThe former Patsy Gall AdamsFollowing the wedding, a reception was staged at the church. The bride’s table was covered in a white lace cloth trimmed with blue ribbon and centered with a silver candelabra with white candles. A three tiered cake topped with a miniature bride and groom, and decorated with live whitepom daisies, punch and nuts were served from the table byDebbie Jarmon, and Karen Costlow, sisters of the groom, and Ann Pool.Janet Jarmon, sister of the groom, attended the bride’s book.The bride’s mother wore a peach floor length gown accented with a white corsage. The mother of the groom chose a floor length mint green dress with a white corsage.The bride is a graduate of Grand Saline High School, Tyler Junior College and Stephen F. Austin University. She taught two years with the Celeste school system.The groom graduated from Grand Saline High School, Tyler Junior College and is a senior student at Stephen F. Austin University. He also spent three years in the United States Army.Leaving for a week long wedding trip to Tennessee, the bride wore a three piece ensemble in shades of blue. The couple will make their home at 1245 Wells in Nacogdoches.LocalCapt. and Mrs. Chester Young and children of El Paso are visiting for a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mancy Coffman andfamily.Miss MarBride OfWedding vows were spoken by Miss Margaret Ann Gipson and Ricky D.
