Fred Rudisill was her ister-w-law’s matron of honor ind only attendant. She wore a ■own of pale blue organdie over affeta designed with fitted bodice, ound neckline with corded puff md full flared floor-length skirt sith matching puff. She carried s spray of American Beauty ros-s.The brunette bride, escorted and iven in marriage by her brother, ictor h. Rudisill, was in a gown f white French embroidered or-andie over taffeta. It was fash-med with fitted bodice, lowic in ii!th skirt was tiered skirt set m with scallops outlined with lace. Her fingertip veil of imported organdie was caught at each side with white flowers and she carried a white prayer book topped with a white orchid and showered with satin streamers and lily of the valley.Mr. Duke has his father as best man and ushers were David, Fred, and Paul Rudisill, brothers of the bride, and Tommy Rudisill, a nephew of the bride.Mrs. Rudisill, the bride’s mother, wore a dress of navy sheer with naw accessories and a gardenia corsage. The bridegroom’s mother was in dusty rose sheer with black accessories and also pinned gardenias at her shoulder.Immediatelv following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Duke left for a wedding trip-through the North Carolina mountains after which they will be at home in Woods Hole, Mass., until September and then in Cambridge, Mass. For travel Mrs. Duke changed into a navy summer suit with matching aecessoires and lifted the orchid from her prayerbook and pinned it at her shoulder.Mrs. Duke is a graduate of Lincolnton high school and Greensboro college. For the past two years she has been a member of the Statesville city schools facui-| ly and is well known in music: circles in Statesville. The bridegroom is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and; will enter Harvard in September.: For the summer he is employed1 at Oceangraphie Research, Woods Hole, Mass |OUT-OF-TOWN GUESTS jAmong those attending the wedding from out of town were Mrs. Harry Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kimball.
