The bridal party, consisting of fourteen, were seated at a large table in the dining room. The guests were arranged in the other rooms at tea tables. The sumptuous four course supper was served by six young girls, all dressed in white and wearing pink roses. After supper the party spent a pleasant social hour before leaving for the depot. Excellent music was furnished during the evening by the talented pianist, Mr. Alonzo Bauman.9The happy couple left at 10:30 o’clock for Canton. They were drawn to the depot in a spring wagon, escorted by band music, tin horn music, red fire and a large number of friends. At the depot, showers of rice, confetti, and old shoes were heaped upon them, and placards proclaiming the event to all were their fate. The charivari waa truly old fashioned in every respect and the couple got a send off rarely equalled in the history of Orrville.They were the recipients of many beautiful presents from admiring friends. After spending two weeks visiting in Canton, Buffalo, New York and Boston, they will go to Baltimore to live, where the groom has a good position as engineer of maintenance of way on the B. O. railroad. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
