BRILLIANT EVENTBb;ELCfisie;iroi!c'bancentiafvCkfvWas the Koppes-Hostetter Wedding Wednesday Evening — Popular Young Couple United in Bonds of Matrimony.•A brilliant social event of the season was the beautiful wedding of Mr. Frank H. Koppes, of Baltimore, Md., to Miss Mabelle M. Hostetter, of this place, which occurred at the residence of the bride’s mother, Mrs. J. W. Hostetter, on North Main street, Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock. The wedding was the happy culmination of a blissful courtship and wa3 witnessed by a large number of guests from here and a distance. The nuptial ceremony of the M.E. church was performed by Rev. R.F. Mayer. The house had been beautifully decorated in honor of the event. The dining room was festooned with smilax and orange blossoms, with bunches of pink roses and sweet peas; the sitting room and library were resplendent in festoons of pink and green, with beautiful rcses, carnations and ferns; the parlor was garlanded in orange blossoms, boquets of roses and ferns. In the northeast corner of the room was a triangular bower of orange blossoms, underneath which the ceremony was performed.Shortly after 7 o’clock, and following a sweet love song rendered by Mrs. Rev. Mayer, the entrancing Lohengrin wedding march was played by th£ accomplished Miss Blanche Steele, while the bridal party came slowly down the stairs, the minister leading. Then in even time appeared the groom, attired in black, supported by his personal friend, Mr. Ralph O’Neil, of Toledo, as best man; the bridesmaid, Miss Gail Miller, of Akron, in a charming blue gown and carrying a bouquet of pink roses; the matron of honor, Mrs, Carl Heingartner, of Canton, a close friend of the bride, dressed in beautiful white; the flower girls, little Ruth Koppes and Ruth jBoyd, clad in white; and completing the party, the sweet June bride, in a very beautilul gown of white point d’esprit with panels of real lace, and wearing a splendid veil of white tulk^ -traririuunterl wltll a crown ] of orange blossoms.
