Reck.^ VThe Ceremony is Solemnized at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Tippecanoe in the Presence of Several Hundred Guests. .One of the most beautiful of the Church weddings yet held in Tippee-canoe City was that witnessed yesterday afternoon by several hundred guests, when. Miss Alma Bishop of that city, became the bride oi Dr. Levi E. Reck of this city,v •The scene of the marriage was the Methodist Episcopal Church which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Immense palms were used around the altar forming a .very effective back ground for the ceremony.Rev. Austin, pastor of the Church, officiated, using , the ring service, and the ceremony was beautiful and im pressive throughout.At the appointed hour, three o’clock the lovely bride, on the arm of her father, preceded by her maid, Miss Clifford Haver, moved up the center aisle to the sweet strains of Lohengrin as sung by the G. S. Club- The procession as 'it entered the Church was headed by the girls of the G. S. Club, daintily gowned in white with big picture hats. The girls came two by two, singing the wedding march.At the altar the bride and her father were met by the groom and his attendant, Dr. R. L. Kunkle.After Mr. Bishop ■ had -given his daughter in mariiage he retired and the compact was sealed with the solemn ring.service and prayer.The bride looked very pretty in a beautiful white gown with lace trimmings. The bride’s maid wore white.The groom and his attendant looked handsome in the .conventional dress.I ■Immediately after the wedding a -reception was held at the pretty home of the~T5ride-’s parents, where the artistic decorations were in pink and white, peonies predominating.Refreshments were served theguestsMany useful and elegant presents.attest the esteem . ins.nwhich these young people -are held.Dr.- and Mrs.- Reck came to this city last evening and for the present are staying with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reck, but will soon be in their own home.The bride is a charming young woman, accomplished and respected by a wide circle of friends.The groom, is one/of^Eiqua’s.prominent physicians;; and |as a host of friends and acquaintances.
